The longer answer
Signal holds a future lease expiry date against 733 London companies, from HM Land Registry registered leases, lease disclosures in statutory accounts and lease records on file. 238 of those dates fall in 2027: 71 in Q1, 72 in Q2, 49 in Q3, 46 in Q4 — against 75 in the rest of 2026 and 233 in 2028. The leases that are on the land register can be placed at a building: 189 registered leases ending in 2027 at 157 buildings, listed building by building on the 2027 page. The true number is higher: many office renewals and short leases never reach the register, so the tracked count is the earliest public floor, not the market total. Decisions start 9–18 months before expiry, which makes 2027's leases live business now. Figures as of 1 October 2026.
